CLS 50th Anniversary: Opening Reception of Central American Families in Los Angeles: Networks and Cultural Resistance

In conjunction with the Central American panel, this exhibition highlights the contributions of Central American families as activists, artists, feminists, transactvitists, students, and educators including the Maya diaspora in LA. The exhibition/installation utilizes visual and material culture from the Central American Memoria Historica Archive, Special Collections and Archives, JFK Library, at Cal State LA and runs from November 15 through December 15, 2018. Curators: Leda Ramos and Alejandra Lemus-Perez.
